Frequently asked questions
What is my item of jewellery made of?
All items of jewellery are handmade using recycled solid 925 silver which is sourced directly from Birmingham's historic jewellery quarter. If you would like a piece made using a different metal (i.e. Gold), then please get in touch to request a bespoke order.
How do I clean my jewellery?
The best way to clean silver is with a soft cloth. Silver naturally oxidizes, and can react to people's PH levels in their skin, so take care when spraying perfume and applying lotion whilst wearing jewellery. To keep them looking at their best, store your pieces in a clean environment out of direct sunlight.
Do you make any gold pieces?
Yes! I have a range of gold plated pieces available which are made to order within 14 days and I can also cast most of the pieces on my website into solid 9ct gold and often take commission orders. If you are interested, please send a message via the website or email contact@hannahkyriakou.com
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
All items are handmade to order, usually within 1-5 days. If the item(s) is a gift and required urgently/before a specific date, please get in touch to discuss turnaround.
All orders are posted via Royal Mail services. Please see below estimated shipping times:
United Kingdom: 1-3 days
Europe/Rest of World: 3-7 days
How is my item shipped and how much do you charge?
FREE shipping on all UK orders over £50.
Orders under £50 - £3 postage charge.
UK orders are sent second class signed-for.
Does my pendant come with a chain?
All pendants come with a selection of chain lengths please select this from the drop down menu. If you prefer a different length please get in touch.
How do I work out my finger size?
Simply measure the inner diameter of a ring which already fits the finger of choice, refer to the table below to find your UK ring size and select this size on the drop down menu when ordering.

Please note the diameter measurement is edge to edge and the circumference is the full inner length. Please see above image or reference.
How do I work out my bangle size?
This is very similar to measuring the size of a ring. If you already have a bangle that fits, please measure the circumference. Alternatively if this isn't possible please measure from finger to finger as shown in the below image and choose the size of bangle which is closest to your measurement.
How do I work out my bracelet size?
Please measure with a tape measure or similar around your wrist as shown in the below image and send me this measurement in the comments box on your order.
Can I exchange my item?
Of course, every piece can be exchanged.
Can I return my item?
I gladly accept returns. Please get in touch to arrange a return within 14 days of delivery and post the item(s) back within 30 days of delivery.
The return postage cost is your responsibility, please keep your proof of postage and place a note in with your returned parcel referencing your order. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Is my item packaged in a box?
Yes! All items are packed in a Hannah Kyriakou Design branded box, ready to treasure or give as a gift. The boxes are perfect to store your jewellery in when you are not wearing it.
Can I send my item directly to the recipient?
If you’d like to send the item to someone other than yourself please put their name and address in the ‘shipping address’ box.
Can you wrap the item/s for me?
Gift wrapping can be added at checkout. gift messages are free of charge, and wrapping is an additional £5 for the first time item purchased on and order and £1 for any additional items.
